Wellbeing
We all know that if we grow up within a turbulent or chaotic household, that it is likely to affect our emotional health, making it more difficult to lead content and fruitful lives as we become adults.

Our EBS (Emotional & Behavioural Support) workers have over 20 years of experience within education and parental support for the hardest to reach families. They use this knowledge and experience in order to provide the ultimate in positive outcomes for children, young people and families.

Support can be offered to children for many different reasons including attendance, attainment, behaviour, confidence, low self esteem, poor concentration, friendship issues or bereavement to name but a few, which can lead on to more serious long term affects such as anxiety, depression, stress, self-harm, suicidal thoughts etc. Helping parents to understand how attachment, lifestyle, choices and parenting can influence their children’s emotional behaviour is crucial in minimising future impact. Helping children to build up resilience skills to their challenges in life is at the heart of everything we do.

Evidencing the success of interventions is something we tailor to each individual’s school requirements so you can achieve your exact and desired outcomes rather than reports that typically don’t quite contain the information you need.

Our service looks to add to any support that may currently be in place such as Social Care & Health plans, SEN or other services but can stand alone if needs be and get other agencies involved when needed.

Chances is committed to the highest standards in protecting and safeguarding the children entrusted to our care at all times. We ensure that risk of harm to children’s welfare are minimised and take all appropriate actions to address concerns about the welfare of a child/children, working within the boundaries of school policies regarding child protection and safeguarding.
